Barcelona defender Pau Gubarsi has revealed he is happy that his team started the new season with three points.
The Blaugrana beat Valencia 2-1 in their opening La Liga game of the 2024/25 season on Saturday night, with Robert Lewandowski scoring twice to give them the win.

Next up, Barcelona host Athletic Bilbao on Saturday, August 24. Before a trip to Rayo Vallecano and a home clash with Valladolid later this month.
Cubarsí, known for his precise tackles, calmness and accurate passing in transition, became the youngest player to debut in the knockout stage of the Champions League.
“It was one of the best days of my life,” Cubarsí said. “Very happy with the (man of the match) trophy and with the club returning to the quarterfinals after some difficult years.”
