Barcelona forward Rafinha insists he is ready to adapt to Hansi Flick’s plans and is open to playing in any forward position.

The Blaugrana beat Valencia 2-1 in their opening La Liga game of the 2024/25 season on Saturday night. With Robert Lewandowski scoring twice to give them the win UFABET  

“It’s difficult to come to this stadium. Valencia is a difficult team to play against and it’s even more difficult to play at home. The important thing is to start with a win.” Rafinha the Brazil international told Movistar.

“The intensity we put into the game is important but there were times when we showed some weakness. At the end of the day, we are human and we get tired. After conceding a goal we knew we had to react quickly.

“Playing for Barca is very competitive and we have a lot of quality players in the team. I am interested in playing and trying to adapt to the attacking positions. I am ready to play as a number 9. But hopefully I won’t have to.

“It’s normal, no matter where you are, when a new coach comes in there’s an adjustment process involved.”

He began his speech. “The intensity with which we played was important. In some moments our rhythm dropped. But this is normal because we are human and we get tired sometimes. But we were able to come back well, especially in the second half.”
